I'm not much for the company, or the spirit of giving thanks (sounds pretty bad now that I look at it, chalk it up to misery/inability to retain joy), but damn do I appreciate a good meal. Especially when I don't have to do the cooking (that'd be a travesty in itself). Let them eat turkey and assorted pies!

Speaking of pie, does anyone know the name of this one pie that's a both apple and cranberry, and the top crust is really crunchy and sweet? I never got the name, nor have I had any luck finding it. My late, great aunt used to have it at her house all the time when we had Thanksgiving there.

Edit: Well, now I feel like a tool for this brief lapse of judgment. It's terrible that so many people can't even meet their basic needs, let alone even have one big meal in a year. Never forget that suffering exists in the world, but try and live to the best of your ability.
